Formula E follows the standard points system used in other FIA-sanctioned series by awarding points to the 10 top finishers:
Julius Baer pole position: 3 points
Visa fastest lap: 1 point (if in a top-10 finishing position)
The Formula E car is an open-wheel auto racing car created with carbon fiber, kevlar and aluminium structure powered by an electric motor
