Number ‘8’

Guided by the philosophy of yin and yang, its twists and curves are as graceful as a ballerina’s pirouette and resemble the Chinese symbol for the number ‘eight’.

Called 8 Conlay, when completed by end 2020 will be the tallest twin twisted residential residences in Malaysia. With interiors, including a five-star hotel, lifestyle retail quarters and two towers of branded residences, designed by some of the industry’s award-winning names, this billion-dollar project aims to redefine not only Kuala Lumpur’s skyline, but also its lifestyle.

Kelly Hoppen for YOO

Renowned for her signature neutral tones and dubbed the ‘Queen of Taupe’, Hoppen, the interior designer of 8 Conlay’s YOO8 Tower B, is a frequent entry on the lists of the world’s ‘most influential’ and ‘most inspirational’ people. She was honoured with an MBE by Britain’s Queen Elizabeth in 2009 for her services to interior design.
