Meet the 35 Hong Kong athletes heading to Paris
Three years on from the historic success of Tokyo, Hong Kong’s athletes head to the Paris Olympics again carrying the weight of the city’s hopes and expectations on their shoulders.
Fencing champion Cheung Ka-long, double silver medallist Siobhan Haughey, and table tennis star Doo Hoi-kem are among those familiar faces returning to once again go up against the world’s best. But there is lot of new blood too, with more than half of those travelling to France making their Olympic debuts. Here’s a quick look at who will fly the city’s flag in the the French capital and beyond this summer.
