Select the year above to see how Clockenflap has changed since 2008
The inaugural Clockenflap was held at Cyberport where organisers erected a stage nestled amid tall residential towers. The grounds also had art installations, food stalls and a film tent.
The second Clockenflap, and last at Cyberport, had a single stage and a film tent along with art installations and food stalls. Following this event, nearby residents complained about the noise and the venue was no longer available.
Noise complaints at Cyberport meant the third Clockenflap was held in a gallery space at Wong Chuk Hang on November 20.
Clockenflap moved to the West Kowloon Cultural District for the first time in 2011, and would stay for four more years.

Festival ticket prices for a day, adjusted for inflation, increased from HK$491.37 in 2008 to HK$1042.31 in 2015.
But considering that the list of acts has grown and so has the length of the festival, weekend pass holders paid just HK$14.37 for each act over the three-day Clockenflap 2015, compared to HK$18.20 at Clockenflap 2008, which was a single day event.
The most expensive event per act was in 2009 when each act cost HK$27.92.
The cheapest year was 2010, when entry was free. We’re not always going to be that lucky, but fans in 2012 were jumping for joy when they paid the least – just HK$7.20 an act.
When we look at the festival’s price per hour, weekend pass holders enjoyed a golden age of frugality in 2012 at HK$33.85. This peaked at HK$70.80 in 2015, which just topped the price of a mai tai at happy hour.
